Episode 1.7 Update on Makena and COVID, emergency contraception, and the relationship between breastfeeding and IQ
In this episode, we discuss some new literature about the effectiveness of progesterone for preterm labor as well as some new evidence implicating 17-hydroxyprogesterone as a possible endocrine disruptor that might cause increased risk of cancer. We also discuss emergency contraception and new studies in that field. Finally, we discuss the relationship between breastfeeding and IQ.
